GUID

This function generates a string that resembles a GUID but is not guaranteed to be globally unique. It is recommended to look into another way to get a GUID if you are using this in Production.

API Usage: Adjust the format value to be either JSON or XML depending on your use case. Be sure to POST to the API and provide at least null "data" in order for the API to return a GUID for you.
